Borg Warner OEM K04 Custom Turbocharger - VW MK6 GOLF GTI UPGRADE
This is a modified, OEM version of the Borg Warner K04 turbocharger which is found in the VW MK6 Golf R, designed to be a bolt-on upgrade for the VW MK6 Golf GTI.
By opting for this modified K04 turbocharger, where the DV has been mounted to the turbocharger itself, you'll be saving yourself from having to re-route the DV system which is required when using a non-modified VW MK6 Golf R K04 turbocharger.
A popular upgrade amongst VW MK6 Golf GTI owners as this turbocharger is a DIRECT REPLACEMENT and upgrade over the smaller Borg Warner K03 turbocharger that is fitted from factory on standard GTI models.
Our own testing has shown 200 wheel KW & 390nm of torque on 98 octane fuel on a 2011 VW MK6 Golf GTI fitted with this turbocharger, a downpipe, intercooler and intake.
Gains of over 50% can be made when paired with the appropriate modifications and tuning.
