These are GENUINE IHI turbochargers which are the same as what VW or IHI will supply you but without the stamping and the associated costs that come with it being purchased through VW or IHI.
A popular upgrade amongst VW MK7 & 7.5 Golf GTI owners as this factory fitted VW MK7 & 7.5 Golf R turbocharger is a DIRECT REPLACEMENT and upgrade over the smaller IHI IS20 that is fitted from factory on standard GTI models.
Our own testing has shown 235 wheel KW & 420nm torque on 98 octane fuel on a 2015 VW MK7 Golf GTI fitted with a IHI IS38 turbocharger, downpipe, intercooler and intake.
Gains of over 50% can be made when paired with the appropriate modifications and tuning.
